MISSION TO WNC
DPNRV leadership is collecting supplies and mobilizing a team, led by Jim Collop, to depart on Monday, October 7.
Please bring the following supplies or donations to church by Sunday, October 6 to serve the Living Waters family and Balsam Grove community in Pisgah Forest:
Bottled water (singles and gallon jugs)
Charcoal, lighter fluid and propane of any size
Canned meat, peanut butter or beans
Shelf stable food: pasta, rice, juice, canned veggies and fruit
Baby wipes, mouth wash, deodorant etc.
First-aid supplies, batteries, flashlights
Cleaning wipes, bleach, dish soap, clothing detergent etc.
Paper towels, plates, bowls and disposable utensils

REACHING OUR COMMUNITY
Bull and Bones is providing boiled water. Others have opened their homes for meals and clean showers. Some are delivering bottled water from WV or Roanoke to elderly and shut-ins.This is also a great opportunity to donate gently used clothing and furniture to those who lost personal belongings.

GraceLife Church in Christiansburg is reaching the greater Asheville NC area by mobilizing supplies to Statesville
Harvest House is caring for the community in Boone NC

NYE Harp & Bowl Prayer
Join our teams as we align with the Lord on New Year's Eve! Dessert fellowship from 7:30pm to 8:30pm between prayer sets. Children are welcome to come and worship and pray within arms length of their parents.
Christmas Eve Family Candlelight Service
Special worship, message and candle light for an hour.
Children and adults will be worshiping together for the entirety of the service.
Sunday Celebration (donuts before)
Let's celebrate Jesus the Light of the World together! Come and fellowship with donuts and fruit at 9:30am.
Tribe Christmas Party
All youth (6th-12th grade) Christmastime celebration, wear your best festive outfit.

We are happy to host Westover Ballet as they present excerpts for our Sunday morning worship service, blended with a message.
Poinsettia Tree
Sponsor a Poinsettia in memory of your loved one who has stepped into Heaven. Large plants for $25 or 2 small plants for $15. Donate online to Special Events and list the name of the one you’re honoring.

We are blessed with an amazing Elders team and we have an opportunity to show our love and appreciation. Our spotlight on missions this month will be to recognize and bless them. International Day of Prayer
Christians in nations around the world face threat of imprisonment and death just for being a Christ-follower. When asked what they need, the most common answer is prayer for their faith to hold and courage to continue to share the Gospel. Join us as we host believers from the NRV for a very special prayer meeting on behalf of our persecuted brothers and sisters from restricted nations. Join churches from across the region for Love Life’s 40-week Celebration and prayer walkWalk as we intercede for the unborn and all the lives impacted through childbirth! Love Life’s mission is to unite and mobilize the church to create a culture of love and life that will result in an end to abortion and the orphan crisis. Pre - Election Prayer
Several Christiansburg pastors are gathering peacefully outside the Montgomery County Board of Elections office in Christiansburg to unite in prayer for our nation during the final date of the presidential election. All people are invited.

Tribe youth and families are invited to a bonfire at Thornspring directly after the Next Gen Trip to the Pumpkin Patch! We can help organize rides home for anyone who may need it.

Next Gen Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
All of our Next Gen families are invited to a day of fellowship and Fall fun at Thornspring Pastures! Price of admission will be $8 per person, free admission for children 2 and under. Admission includes all activities but not the cost of food or drinks.

Healing Summit
Join together as a community of believers and participate in a national simulcast from Tim Sheets ministry in Ohio Oasis. Tim and his leadership team are responding to a word from the Lord believing for physical healing by the power of Jesus in the present day. Allowing these physical manifestations of Christ to be a sign and a wonder to all of creation.
Tribe Girls' Sleepover
Tribe ladies in 6th-12th grade! You are invited to a Girls’ Sleepover on Friday, October 18th at Tina, Twila, and Adi’s at 7pm! Please eat dinner beforehand or bring dinner with you. Snacks and breakfast on Saturday will be provided. We will have games, face masks, and a movie night! Pick up by 11am on Saturday, October 19th!

Love Life adoption week
We are so excited to be partnering with Love Life starting next week! Love Life’s mission is to unite and mobilize the church to create a culture of love and life that will result in and end to abortion and the orphan crisis. We will be hearing from their team on Sunday, October 6th followed by opportunities to pray the rest of the week! Join us as we partner to bring love and life to the NRV!

DP Men's Retreat
Men of DP are invited to join for this year’s Men’s Retreat! Break away for 24 hours with other guys before Fall ends. Be filled up by the Holy Spirit and challenged by your brothers so that you can enter 2025 victoriously.
We will have teaching and worship times, coupled with 3 small group times, and be surrounded by good food and fellowship. Registration fee includes 3 meals, snacks and bunkhouse style lodging with 6-7 men per cabin.
